It’s been a while since I’ve had time to make something and write about it! I’ve been busy running around the city meeting a few exciting entrepreneurs, sharing ideas and learning as much as I can from every conversation. I was away last week in California with my family since we’ll be really busy during the holiday season at Fab and I’m not quite sure yet how many days, if any, I’ll be able to spend at home when the end of the year rolls around.
As fall nears, I fine myself yet again in transition–probably, if not definitely, moving to a new apartment since my landlord wants to sell his place. I’m allowed to stay on my own in the apartment (my roommate is moving in with her boyfriend) until he sells, but I’d have to be at the whims of the realtors who want to show the place–and if anything, that’s an example of the complete opposite way I’m built to live.
Until then, I’m going to make the most of my wonderful kitchen! Today, I made this–Smitten Kitchen’s peach cobbler. I made mine with a mix of peaches and sugar plums from my CSA.
