Last night I went to Tabare NYC, on South 1st in Williamsburg, with my friend Sam before we celebrated another friend’s birthday at Union Pool. An all around Brooklyn good time.
Evidently it’s Uruguayan and I’m curious about the global and cultural influences on Uruguayan cuisine, since the dishes we both enjoyed seemed as though they could be Italian. I’m definitely going back! Our waitress was great and the ambience is fun and friendly–classic Brooklyn wood interior. Next time I go I’m definitely getting the steak sandwich.
